According to a press release announcement today, GTA V has made around 1 billion in sales within just 3 days after the game was launched. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 took 15 days to reach this same milestone which held the title of fastest selling game until now. GTA V had one of the most anticipated launch in the history of games and were able to sell 16.3 million units of the games within just 3 days. The claim was made by a company called Take-Two interactive.
Now when the reports are taken into consideration the achievement is just the tip of iceberg with several more records to come soon. The game has not yet been released for PC and next gen consoles.
